Noah officially crawled today!  Kevin and I decorated the tree over the weekend and Noah has been very interested in the tree and the lights.  He's been working on crawling but just hadn't quite gotten it figured out.  Tonight he got up on all 4s and made a bee-line for the tree and rolled over and laid under it and played with the lights.  So cute!

Noah is getting SO big!!  His first two teeth came in a week ago (!!) and he loves to give me a toothy grin.  Noah is such a happy boy and smiles and laughs a lot.  He is a very strong boy!  He is very close to being able to sit up on his own and can bear his weight on his legs.  I think he is going to be a little athlete!  I can tell he wants to be on the go already!!  The doctor said he has huge hands and feet and will be tall (he's 92nd percentile) so Kevin is so excited to put a baseball in his hands.  Speaking of, we took him to his first baseball game last week to see the Padres play.  Kevin has been dying to take him and the two of them were walking around the park a lot of the game as Kevin showed him around and told him all about baseball.  It was SO cute!  Noah continues to interact with us more and more, and it's just so much fun being with him!  And he's just the sweetest little boy!

click to enlarge Noah loves sucking on his hands, and yesterday he mastered sucking his thumb!  His dad was slightly less than pleased but I think it's adorable!  Kevin wanted to know what we could do to get him to stop - I said I think he's just going to suck his thumb!  He's also starting to bat at toys.  He loves to bat at the toys that hang down on his bouncer, as well as other things!

We have been having the best time with Noah.  He's just adorable and I can't get enough of him!  He's such a good baby!  He's a really good eater, and a really good sleeper.  He's been sleeping through the night since about 6 1/2 weeks, which is awesome!  We do his last feeding between 10:30 and 11pm and he usually sleeps until about 8:30am.  He started smiling a few weeks ago, and is smiling often now.  I love seeing him smile!  He's such a happy boy!  He has also been getting a lot more alert lately, which makes it really fun.  Last week Noah went on his first plane ride to Columbus to visit Grandma and Grandpa.  He did so well on the plane - didn't cry at all.  We were there about a week and had a really good visit.  Today we went to the peditrician and he got his first set of shots.  I've never seen him scream and cry like that, it just broke my heart.  All I wanted to do was pick him up and rock him, but he had to get all three shots before I could do that.  I almost started crying in the room while they were doing his shots, it was just so sad to see him so upset.  But he settled down afterwards and I was so happy to see his smiles again after we got home.
