Noah arrived March 14, 2009 at 3:33am. He weighed in at 8 lbs 2 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. He's just adorable!!

But an eviction date has been set! Noah has been notified that he must be out no later than next Tuesday, March 17th. I am now 4 cm dilated. The doctor offered to strip membranes this morning but I chickened out. We are set to induce Tuesday morning if Noah doesn't show up beforehand! I'm really excited and really nervous at the same time, but I can't wait!

Update from today's doctor appointment - I am now 3 cm dilated and 90% effaced. Kevin and I are hoping Noah will decide to make his appearance very soon!

At my doctor appointment today, my doctor checked my cervix, and I am 1 1/2 - 2 cm dilated!! She said Noah is definitely still head down and she said his head is REALLY low!! Kevin asked how long she thought it would be until I go into labor, and she said she doesn't like to make predictions about that because they are so often wrong. But she said we should be ready!!

I am officially on maternity leave now, and just a few weeks from my due date! I am frantically trying to get everything done before Noah arrives, which I feel like is going to be soon! I feel like my body is gearing up for labor, I can feel things changing even though I can't describe it. I know it could still be weeks, but it could also be days! I am fairly certain I lost at least part of my mucus plug Saturday morning! But reading online, it sounds like that doesn't mean too much necessarily. I've been having a lot of Braxton Hicks contractions lately, and I think I had a real contraction last night, based on what they say it should feel like. I'm guessing Noah will arrive before March 5th. We'll see if I'm right!
